Dearness Allowance Increased to 125% – April 2016

Central Government employees received a Dearness Allowance hike from 119% to 125%, effective 1 January 2016, under the 6th Pay Commission structure. The Ministry of Finance order dated 7 April 2016, in Hindi and English, states that the additional DA will be paid in cash and also applies to defence civilian employees. The Controller General of Defence Accounts forwarded it to all PCsDA and CsDA on 8 April 2016 for necessary action. Read the full document for complete details.
