Dearness Allowance Raised to 4% – Ministry of Finance Order, March 2017
Central Government employees will receive Dearness Allowance (DA) at 4% of basic pay, up from 2%, with effect from 1 January 2017. Issued by the Ministry of Finance on 30 March 2017, the order explains that basic pay means pay drawn in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix level, excluding special pay.
