Complaint Against Verka Over Contaminated Curd – September 2016
When a Mohali resident found cockroaches inside a sealed packet of Verka curd, he took the matter up formally with the Verka Milk Plant in Mohali. In his complaint dated 28 September 2016, Sh Harbhajan Singh describes the incident, the visit by Verka officials who assured prompt action, and the packet’s batch details. The complaint was also sent to the Deputy Commissioner, Mohali, and was backed by signatures from around 20 local residents. A newspaper report on the incident is also included.
