Minutes Of April 2026 Meeting

* The monthly meeting of DAPWA was held on 4th April 2026, at Meghdoot Hall of PCDA (Western Command) Chandigarh.

* Meeting was started by Sh. K K Sharma, Gen. Secy of the DAPWA by welcoming all its members & new members.

* Secretary requested the members to donate by cash or online in the SANKALP account which is an initiative by DAPWA members to support needy. He intimated the members of Sankalp’s ongoing project ‘Distribution of Stationery to Students in Slum Area’ & thanked all members for their support.

* He then presented before the members a review of the previous month’s meeting.

* Sh. D. S. Dheer gave best wishes to all the birthday boys and girls and congratulated them. Then he called them for the cake cutting ceremony and birthdays gifts were given to all of them.

* In the open house, Sh. D K Jaiswal presented a song & entertained the house.

* Tambola was organized & gifts from DAPWA were given to winners.

* Cash donations of rupees 7140/- was given by various members towards SANKALP.

* The Meeting concluded with a vote of thanks & national anthem.

* Light refreshment was served to all the members.

DAPWA came into existence on 27/10/2007 to look into the welfare of pensioners of Defence Accounts Department for settlement of their grievances with regards to their pending pension claims, expediting documentation for sanction/ issue of family pension medical claims and to provide moral support in adverse circumstances of brother pensioners.
