• August 2026 meeting of DAPWA was held on 1st August 2026, at Meghdoot Hall of PCDA (WC) Chandigarh.
• Meeting was started by Smt Vijay Sandal, Joint Gen. Secy of DAPWA by welcoming all its members.
• She then presented before the members a review of previous meeting i.e. July 2026
• The members were apprised about the Sankalp activities. It was informed that a cooler and an inverter has been donated to the Discover Special Disability School in Mohali and the planning is going on for the next endeavor. There was a cash collection of Rupees 5200/- for the Nobel cause on the day.
• Then there was the address by the President. He updated the members about the current position of court cases.
• Sh. D.S. Dheer sir gave best wishes to all the birthday boys and girls and congratulated them. Then he called them for the cake cutting ceremony and birthdays gifts were given to all of them by the Chairman and the President. Most of the association members whose birthdays were there in the month donated generously for the strengthening of the association's financial position.
• Octogenarian member Shri D S Mehta was honored by the Chairman with Shawl and flower mala.
• In the open house, a Bhajan was sung by Sh. Hari Singh Nagley. Then there were songs by Sh. S.S. Chadha and Sh. S.P. Singh. Smt Saroj Lal madam also sang a Bhajan.
• Dr Sidharth Garg (Director CTVS (Cardio Thoracic Vascular Surgery) at Park Hospital delivered a health talk on heart related issues and varicose veins etc. Then question answer time was there, and Doctor Sidharth gave answers to the queries of the members up to their satisfaction. He also apprised the members about the advance facilities available at the Park Hospital.
• The Meeting concluded with vote of thanks & national anthem.
• A light refreshment was served to all the members.
