Grant of Family Pension

At present family pension is being sanctioned by the PCDA(Sparsh). The detailed procedure and documents required are available on the website of the Sparsh. However the documents required by the PCDA(Sparsh) are depicted below in nutshell.-

1. Sparsh PPO/PPO no of the original pensioner.
2. Register Mobile phone of the original pensioner to receive the OTP.
3. Death certificate of the original pensioner. Ensure that the name mentioned in the PPO and death certificate are identical.
4. Aadhar Card of the family/spouse of the pensioner. Name on the Aadhar Card should be same as mentioned on PPO.
5. Mobile phone to receive the OTP. Family pensioner can continue with earlier mobile phone.
6. Details of bank account in which pension is required.( Preferably carry Bank Passbook for verification and ensure correctness of the same.)
7. PAN card of the family pensioner.
8. Two passport size photographs of the family pensioner.Visit nearest Sparsh Service Centre for obtaining the new PPO for the family pension or upload the documents and comply with instructions of the App for obtaining the new PPO without visit to the Service Centre.

Note. I) In case the original pensioner dies within 10 years from the date of retirement or attaining the age of 67 years of age whichever is earlier the family pension will be equal to the 50% of the last pay drawn. Commutation of pension has no effect on family pension.

Note. 2)In case family pensioner is above 80 years of age,one more document viz Birth Certificate/Certificate of Matric of a recognised education Board, so the enhance family pension can be sanctioned well intime.
